Were it all began
Before doing web developing as a job, i loved tinkering with small websites and tools.
Career
It-Kolleg
I started my programming career in the IT-Kolleg in Imst.
Web-Crossing
The first job i got, was as a web developer at Web-Crossing.
Here I learned to handle multiple projects simultaneous and communicating with customers, designers and other developers.
p&p Marketing
After quiting, I searched for new challenges. I switched to p&p Marketing, now known as Factor. Sadly the only thing I learned here, was the importance of communication between designers and developers from the beginning. But I really liked the team.
P8
P8 was the next agency I started. The people were nice, but the projects were only small Wordpress projects. At that point I realized, I wanted to build projects focused on quality and not cheap Wordpress pages with stock templates. Some skills I developed here, were making designs in photoshop and do the concepts for them.
A half year in, I got a employee to manage. Together we did some nice projects. At Web-Crossing I had some kind of mentor role, here I had a real employee and I started to like it.
But after a year the unit contained only 2 people, so I searched for a job to step up the game.
Barracuda
I found it at Barracuda to work on their Campus.
Here I really improved code quality and ui/ux. The tools, elasticsearch and ci/cd, helped me to support and create bigger projects.
